Seenyor is a small radar sensor that goes on the ceiling or wall of a room, usually the bedroom or bathroom. It notices when someone may have fallen in the area it covers and sends an alert to the Seenyor app on the phones of the people you choose. On the 24/7 plan, a professional monitoring team gets the alert too and can talk through the device. In the background it tracks presence, sleep, breathing and routine, so families notice when something changes.
It uses radar, not cameras, so there are no images or video. Seenyor describes it as a non-medical assistive safety and wellbeing system. It alerts people quickly when a fall may have happened; it does not prevent falls, and it does not replace care. (Seenyor specifications)

There are two parts: the device, bought once, and a plan for each device, paid monthly or yearly.
So the first year for one device comes to A$1,639 inc GST with 24/7 monitoring, or A$1,441 inc GST without it. Most homes use one or two devices. Providers and plan managers can ask for a quote or tax invoice.
Three ways, depending on who is paying:
Whichever route you take, it is the same Seenyor device, the same plans and the same support here in Australia.
Delivery, setup and support
Online, or by quote and invoice for providers and plan managers.
We deliver within Australia and confirm the address and timing with you first, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
The sensor goes on the ceiling or wall of the room it watches, with mains power and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, or the 4G version. We arrange setup with you.
Questions or a fault? Contact us first. We sort out repair, replacement or refund and do not make you chase the manufacturer overseas.
Every Seenyor comes with the manufacturer's warranty, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Change of mind returns within 14 days if unused. The detail is in our delivery, returns and warranty policy.
NDIS. We are not a registered NDIS provider. If your NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can usually buy from us and claim it, when the item is in your plan and is reasonable and necessary for you. We can't be paid from NDIA-managed (agency-managed) funding. See buying Seenyor with NDIS funding.
Support at Home. Older Australians on Support at Home may be able to fund it through the Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme, where their assessment and support plan include it. Your provider sources the item and we can quote and invoice them. See paying for Seenyor through Support at Home. (My Aged Care: AT-HM scheme)
This page is general information, not funding, eligibility or clinical advice. Your planner, plan manager, support coordinator, occupational therapist, aged care provider or My Aged Care can tell you what applies to you.
We sell it, so weigh this accordingly. This is our view from demonstrations and installs, not a customer review.
Where it shines. Nothing to wear, charge or remember, which is exactly where pendants fall down. No camera, which matters in a bedroom or bathroom. It notices a fall without anyone pressing a button, and the wellbeing reports help families spot a change in routine before it becomes a crisis.
Where it does not. Fall detection covers about 24 square metres per device, so it watches a room, not the whole home, and not the garden or the shops. It needs mains power at all times and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (5 GHz is not supported) unless you have the 4G version. Ceiling mounting works better than wall mounting, and a pet sharing the room can cause false alarms. (Seenyor specifications, placement guidance)
Who it suits. Someone who will not or cannot wear a pendant, families who want peace of mind without a camera, and care teams in Aged Care, SDA and SIL settings. Plenty of households pair it with a wearable for time out of the house. If it is not the right fit, we will say so at the demo.
